Portable computers are known as laptops computers and now it called laptops. There are many types of laptops and default laptops have less capability as compared to full desktop PC. Now, desktop replaced by laptops and then ultrabooks and now netbooks. Here we discussed the main difference about all three laptop, ultrabook and netbook .

Laptops

Laptops as the name indicate they are desktop replacement. These laptops are basically large in size, bulky and contain everything as you find in a desktop computer. They have large screen, fast processor, powerful graphic cards, and large storage efficiency and all the things you use in desktop computer. The downside about laptops is that, they don’t offer much battery backup. They are not meant to taken anywhere, it’s just a portable version of desktop and you used it for few hours as a portable device.

The term”Ultrabook” coined by Intel and all ultrabooks runs on and build within Intel architechure and use Intel processor.

Netbooks

The smallest version of laptop is know as Netbook, its now a days technology. They are also called as mini-laptop. Netbooks are small in screen, low powered processor, less in storage capacity and they also come without optical drive. Netbook configured with small keyboard, and less in weight. Netbooks have long battery life and backup and ideal for educational or frequently working. These are run on Intel Atom platform, although most modern Netbooks run on Window 7 starter but also Netbooks running on higher version of Window 7 are available.

While the specification seems not much but it can do everything you want. Surfing on web, watching movies, listening music, playing games and many other task you can do with it. Netbooks aren’t meant for a system that does heavy work and multi-tasking.  The biggest plus point is its battery life. Asus Eee offers 13 hours of battery life. Most of Netbooks have a battery backup of 10 hours. Peoples, who just need basic functions of computer and more flexibility then a tablet, get a Netbook is a good deal.
